Challenge: read all of Luke 22
It is a long chapter,
A dramatic chapter,
A loaded chapter,
Full of prophesies come true,
Twists and turns out of the blue,
Worth a lengthy study, but is it not culminated here:
19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.LUKE 22
The Messiah has come!
He is the favored one,
The lamb of God,
Ransom for our sin,
With His blood we are saved,
The communion cup, and bread that we break, is His body,
Into our soul to take.
Thanks be to God, for providing His Son.
