Ecclesiastes chapter four seems to poetically address more of the vanity, frustration, and speck of time and matter that human life is, with a sprinkling of wisdom and more. My favorite verses are those that communicate insightful, wise perspective like these:
Ecclesiastes 4:6 Better is an handful with quiteness, than both the hands full with travail and vexation of spirit,
Ecclesiastes 4: 9) Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour 10) For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow…
Ecclesiastes 4:12 …a three fold chord is not quickly broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:13 Better is a poor and wise child than an old and foolish king, who will no more be admonished.
Lord, I pray that by Your work in my heart, I would have discernment to represent and promote peace and wisdom. Help me to keep things in proper perspective, and to put forth necessary effort to protect and maintain those relationships with partners and teammates in all my circles, according to Your will Lord. All of my hope is in You. In Jesus’s name I pray. Amen.
Beautiful post, with such needed reminders in the verses, loved it Tammy
